Impossible is Nothing.

Yo everybody. It has been a loooong time since I last even looked at this site, but today I decided to start fresh with a new angle. It has been an eventful school year thus far and I am loving my freshman year at LCU. I understand that it will get harder and busier as I go, so I have decided to fit in what I can now. Great idea methinks. As the semester closes however, it has become increasingly more difficult to find time for sleep let alone going out and having fun. That is partially my fault buuuuut, it doesn’t help that a certain prof assigns THE most dry, boring, horrid readings out there. Awful. Simply awful. But I got it all done! Down to one last paper. Hallelujah.

Now I want to get down to what I want to begin writing about. I think that this will not only become an outlet for writing down the simple aspects of life, but I’ll be including the real stuff, things happening in my brain that I want to share; ideas, thoughts, feelings, and anything else I deem important enough to write down for you and for myself.

Lately I’ve been attempting some changes. Changes in attitude, in temperament, in thought, in speech, and in treatment of others. I want to strive to be more Christlike in every action. I want to be able to push out the old me and bring in a mentality that will allow me to be Christ’s love to people. Every time I think about it I am reminded of how insane that sounds, that I want to be Christlike. Even though that’s what we are called to be, I feel that it is a goal that is waaaay out of our reach. Then the realization hits me. We are called to become more Christlike, there is no cap on that. There is no stopping point. We must have the discipline to continually strive towards living as Christ did. Impossible? With Christ impossible is nothing.

Strive to be like Him.

That’s just one of the many things that has been on my mind as of late. I will begin to be more vigilant in my posts, so keep checking and leave some comments if you’ve got them.

Peace.
